Tuble privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Tuble turns PDFs into ebooks on your iPhone and iPad. It was built so that your books and notes stay yours.
What Tuble collects
Nothing. Tuble has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Tuble doesn’t send your books, notes, reading activity or any other data to us or to any third party. If you turn on iCloud sync, your library is stored in your own iCloud account with Apple.
Where your data lives
- On your device. The PDFs and ebooks you add, the converted books, your highlights, notes, saved words, reading progress and settings are stored on your device.
- In your iCloud, if you turn it on. With Settings › Sync with iCloud on, Tuble syncs your library through Apple’s iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage. We can’t see or reach it. Turn sync off at any time; your iCloud data stays under your Apple ID’s control.
- In backups you make. “Back up books and notes” writes a file to the place you pick in Files. Where it goes after that is up to you.
On-device features
Text recognition (OCR), Story so far, Ask Tuble, X-Ray, paper briefs, Explain this, Define, Translate and Read aloud all run on your device, using Apple’s frameworks and Apple Intelligence where available. Your text isn’t sent to us for any of them. Translation language packs and dictionaries are downloaded and managed by iOS.
Purchases
Tuble Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store. Apple handles payment; Tuble only learns from Apple whether Pro is unlocked on your Apple ID. We never see your payment details.
Face ID
Locked folders use Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode through iOS. Tuble never receives your biometric data.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data is kept for as long as you keep it in Tuble. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
- A book: Remove takes a book out of Reading. Its highlights and notes are kept in the Notebook’s Archived notes.
- Everything on a device: deleting the Tuble app deletes all of its data from that device.
- iCloud: to delete what Tuble synced, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage (or Storage) › Tuble, and delete its data. Turning off Sync with iCloud first stops it syncing again.
- Backups: backup files you made stay where you saved them, until you delete them in Files.
Children
Tuble collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
